Policy

Cooperative Education affords students the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom, earn a competitive wage, gain relevant work experience, and earn college credit in their field of study. Students must be juniors or seniors. They may participate in a parallel experience that requires 20 to 25 hours per week on the job site, or an alternating experience that requires 30 to 40 hours per week on the job site. The work experience lasts 16 weeks during the fall and spring semesters and 10 weeks during the summer semester. The student is involved in a supervised, paid, and credit‐bearing internship related to his or her area of study. Students wishing to apply should contact the Cooperative Education Program at 501-916-3021.
