As a mentor, you provide support, resources, and friendship to incoming exchange students. The workshop will give you the tools you need in order to connect with your mentee so that you can help them adjust to life in Little Rock. Please remember that you must attend the Mini Workshop to be a mentor.
This is the last one you can attend to mentor in the Fall semester.

Pre-Departure Orientation is MANDATORY for all UALR students studying abroad. Fall Pre-Departure Orientation will be held on Wed, May 2nd at 12 (noon) in the Office of International Services. If that date does not work for you, you may attend the Orientation held in April for Summer Study Abroad Students.

March was the kick-off for the monthly UALR International Coffee Hour - each month the Office of International Services will host an International Coffee Hour, where you are invited to discuss International Education over coffee. These casual events are open to students, faculty, and staff.

The next International Coffee Hour is scheduled for April 27th at 1pm in the DSC - at a table across from Starbucks.

There will be tips for your resume and interviews, and discussion about teaching English abroad.

Join us Wednesday, April 25th at 3:30pm in the Office of International Services (OIS). Topics will include researching study abroad programs, scholarships and financial aid, getting credit, and more.

Every UALR Student who is participating in a Study Abroad Program is required to attend Pre-Departure Orientation. Please sign-up to attend one of the following Orientation sessions. Location: DSC - Room D.
