Records and Registration

Registration on BOSS, the UALR Registration Guide, and the Class Schedule are available on-line by selecting the link at the top.


NOTE: You must know your Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you have forgotten your PIN, come to the Office of Records and Registration with a picture ID. For security reasons, a PIN cannot be released over the telephone.

  1. Select the LOGIN key.

  2. Enter your identification number and your personal identification number (PIN).

  3. If this is your first login to BOSS, you will need to enter a question and an answer. This

  4. question will be used in case you forget your PIN.

  5. At the main menu, select the Student Services and Financial Aid menu.

  6. Select the Registration Menu.

  7. At the Registration Menu, select term.

  8. Once the term is selected, make your choice from the options on the Registration Menu.

  9. If you are ready to register for classes, select the Add/Drop option and follow the instructions to register for classes.

  10. If you need a list of classes available, select the Register/Search for Classes option. You can search by subject, time, days of the week, and instructor.

  11. To print your schedule, select the Student Detail Schedule option or you can come to the

  12. Office of Records and Registration with a picture ID to receive a copy of your schedule.

  13. If there are any errors with your desired schedule, a stop sign will appear with an

  14. explanation of the error.

  15. Remember to close the browser to protect your privacy.

In addition, you may:

  • Check your registration status,


  • Review holds, academic status, classification, and major.


  • Add/Drop courses


  • Print your schedule


  • Change your PIN


  • Review and update mailing address


  • Review and update telephone number


  • Review and update e-mail address


  • Review and print an unofficial academic transcript


  • View grades


  • Check general financial aid information


  • Check status of financial aid awards


  • Review cost of attendance


  • Check academic progress


  • Determine needed financial aid documents


  • Pay tuition
