Deferred Payment Plan
UALR Tuition and Fees may be paid through installment
payment plan during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Students who sign up for the payment plan on or before the
payment due date pay 25% down and 25% on the 15th of each
month for the next three months. There are no interest
charges, but all students that sign up for this plan are
charged a $26 processing fee that is due at the time the
plan is approved. A $26 late fee is charged when payment
is received after the 15th of each month. Failure to meet
payment deadlines may result in the refusal of future
deferment applications.
Nonresidents
A nonresident student is one who has not been a
resident of Arkansas for at least 6 months prior to
being admitted to the University.
Audited Charges
Tuition charges for audit are the same as for credit.
Athletic Transfer Fee
$4 of each per credit hour rate of tuition is
applied to the cost of intercollegiate athletics at
UALR. In addition, the University of Arkansas Board
of Trustees has declared that an additional $6 per
credit hour fee can be utilized to cover athletic costs.
Deposit Fee For Early Registration
Early registrations must be paid in full or secured with $100 deposit
by December 10, 2004 at 5 p.m. The deposit will prevent registrations
from being deleted on December 10, 2004. This deposit applies towards
tuition and fees. The balance must be paid in full or set up on the
deferred payment plan by January 14, 2005 at 5 p.m. Late payment fees
will apply after this date.
Responsibility for Tuition and Fee Payment
By enrolling in classes at the University
of Arkansas at Little Rock, a student makes a
financial commitment to pay the tuition and
fee charges associated with the enrollment.
Students withdrawing after the stated refund
dates remain liability for full tuition and fee
charges. Collection costs incurred in the
event of delinquency shall be at the expense of
the borrower, at a rate of 33 1/3% of balance
owed. Although the University accepts payment
via student financial aid and third party
sponsorship, responsibility for payment remains
with the student. If financial aid is not granted
or if third party sponsors do not pay within a
reasonable period, the student will be required
to pay the full amount due.
