BOSS REGISTRATION

Summer: May 23, 2005 through August 8, 2005
Fall: August 22, 2005 through December 14, 2005

Access BOSS through the UALR home page at www.ualr.edu.

Get to know the BOSS
(Banner On-line System Services)

  1. Select the Enter Secure Area option.

  2. Enter your identification number and your Personal Identification Number (PIN).

  3. If this is your first login to BOSS, you will need to enter a question and an answer. This question will be used in case you forget your PIN.

  4. At the main menu, select the Student Services and Financial Aid menu.

  5. Select the Registration Menu option.

  6. At the Registration Menu, select term.

  7. Once the term is selected, make your choice from the options on the Registration Menu.

  8. If you are ready to register for classes, select the Add/Drop option and follow the instructions to register.

  9. If you need a list of classes available, select the Register/Search for Classes option. You can search by subject, time, days of the week, and instructor.

  10. To print your schedule, select the Student Detail Schedule option or you can come to the Office of Records and Registration with a picture ID to receive a copy of your schedule.

  11. If there are any errors with your desired schedule, a stop sign will appear with an explanation of the error.

  12. Remember to close the browser to protect your privacy.

As well as adding and dropping courses, you may:

  • check your registration status


  • review holds, academic standing, classification, and major.

NOTE: You must know your Personal Identification Number (PIN) to register. New students will receive their PINs when they are admitted. If you have forgotten your PIN, come to the Office of Records and Registration with a picture ID. For security reasons, a PIN cannot be released over the telephone.
