Deferred Payment Plan

All students must pay in full, have confirmed financial aid or scholarships, or MUST sign up for the deferred payment plan by 5:00 p.m. on August 10, 2007. This plan allows you to make a 25% down payment and then make three equal installments on the fifteen of the next three months. There are no interest charges, but there is a processing fee of $26 which must be paid with the down payment. A $26 late fee is charged for payments received after the fifteenth of the month. Fines and late fees are not deferrable. The deferred payment plan is NOT offered for SWiFT classes.

Nonresidents

A nonresident student is one who has been a resident of Arkansas for at least 6 months prior to being admitted to the University.

Audited Charges

Tuition charges for audit are the same as for credit.

Deposit Fee For Early Registration

Summer early registrations must be paid in full or secured with $100 deposit by May 11, 2007 at 5 p.m. The deposit will prevent registrations from being deleted after 5 p.m. on May 11, 2007. This deposit applies towards tuition and fees.

Fall early registrations must be paid in full or secured with $100 deposit by August 10, 2007 at 5 p.m. The deposit will prevent registrations from being deleted after 5 p.m. on August 10, 2007. This deposit applies towards tuition and fees. The balance must be paid in full or set up on the deferred payment plan by August 17, 2007 at 5 p.m. Late payment fees will apply after this date.

Responsibility for Tuition and Fee Payment

By enrolling in classes at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a student makes a financial commitment to pay the tuition and fee charges associated with the enrollment. Students withdrawing after the stated refund dates remain liability for full tuition and fee charges. Collection costs incurred in the event of delinquency shall be at the expense of the borrower, at a rate of 33 1/3% of balance owed. Although the University accepts payment via student financial aid and third party sponsorship, responsibility for payment remains with the student. If financial aid is not granted or if third party sponsors do not pay within a reasonable period, the student will be required to pay the full amount due.
