Email Policy
You will be assigned an email account within 24 hours of successfully registering for your first course. You can access your email by going to mail.ualr.edu or by clicking the Email link from the UALR homepage.
To log into your account you will need to enter a Username and Password. The default Username will be your first initial, middle initial and lastname and will also be part of your email address (Example: John Doe Smith would have a Username of JDSMITH and his email address would be JDSMITH@UALR.EDU). The default password will be your Student ID (also referred to as a T-Number).
In some cases, if your first initial, middle initial and last names matches that of another person’s, a number might be added to the end of your Username to help differentiate between you and the other person. You can find out if this is true of your Username by logging into your BOSS account and choosing View Usernames or Change Passwords on UALR Computing Systems from the Personal Information menu.
Any changes made to your registration as well as any important information the University needs to convey will be sent to your UALR email account and ONLY your UALR email account. Please check your UALR email account regularly.
