Andrew Drummond, Assistant Professor of Political Science
Andrew Drummond is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science. He received his doctorate from the University of California, Irvine where he was a Graduate Training Fellow in the Center for the Study of Democracy. Drummond’s research focuses on the interactions between electoral rules and party system development, and how this complex shapes voters’ perceptions of democracy. His most recent work examines ideological bias across the United States and Western Europe and is forthcoming in the journal Party Politics. Other articles have appeared in Europe-Asia Studies, Nowa Ukraina, Political Studies, and the Journal of Democracy.
