Erin Finzer, Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish
Dr. Finzer specializes in poetry and cultural studies of twentieth-century and contemporary Central America. Her current eco-critical book project explores the “cosmic conservationism” of Latin American female intellectuals of the inter-war period, during which time these women promoted an early environmentalist, anti-imperialist ethic through their literary activities. She also continues a long-time interest in the artistic production of the Cuban Special Period, recently having published an article in Letras Femeninas on Cuban poet, Reina María Rodríguez.
