Joshua M. Silverstein, Assistant Professor, William H. Bowen School of Law

Professor Silverstein’s scholarship has focused on complex commercial bankruptcies. In such bankruptcies, courts frequently issue extraordinary orders that fall beyond traditional bankruptcy powers. Professor Silverstein’s work has addressed the propriety of such orders. He is currently working on an article in which he hopes to offer a global solution to all extraordinary bankruptcy orders.
