The Research Compliance and Export Controls staff works to ensure that all UALR research activities, both proposed and already in place, are in compliance with federal, state, and university policies. This work involves a number of areas, including Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), animal subjects and usage in research and teaching, human subject research, conflicts of interest, foreign travel, and export controls.
All UALR faculty, staff, and students must stay in compliance in these areas in order to protect themselves and the university. Research Compliance and Export Controls policies and staff ensure that the campus community complies with all federal and university policies, regulations, and requirements.
Please see the links to the left for more information about research compliance, export controls, and international travel. Please feel free to contact us by email or phone with any questions.
