Salary and Benefits
Army officer’s pay is very competitive with their civilian counter-parts. In addition to pay, allowances for housing and subsistence, discounted shopping prices and tax free shopping at the Post Exchange, 30 days of paid vacation a year, and free medical/dental are all provided for active duty officers! The chart below describes the yearly basic pay of entry level officers.
