Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP)
Did you know that ROTC can help you financially while you are attending college? A variety of tuition assistance, stipend, and scholarship programs are available for both prior service and current enlisted members of the U.S. Army!
A contracted ROTC cadet could receive up to $14,500 per year paid directly to them, in addition to up to $9,500 per year in tuition assistance benefits. That’s a total of $24,000 per year to attend college!

| Green To Gold Scholarship Option | Active Duty soldiers intending on leaving the Army to attend college, must have completed a minimum of 2 years of Active Duty. Pays 100% of tuition or room and board. |
| Green To Gold Non-Scholarship Option | Active Duty soldiers intending on leaving the Army to attend college, prior service enlisted soldiers, and National Guard or Reserve soldiers. |
| Green To Gold Active Duty | Current Active Duty soldiers with a maximum of 2 years remaining of college. Available for baccalaureate or Master Degree seeking soldiers. |
