Applying for Scholarships

The Academic Scholarship Application deadline for the 2017-18 academic year has now passed. Please check in October 2017 for information regarding the 2018-19 academic year. 

There are a variety of scholarships available to students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to help you fund your college education.  Whether you are planning to enroll for the first time this fall, or you’ve already been here for a few years, there are scholarship opportunities available to all of our students.

Incoming Students

Complete the Academic Scholarship Application to begin the application process for all academic and merit-based scholarships, including:

Deadlines vary by scholarship, so be sure to submit your application as soon as possible!

Freshman Private Scholarship Application

UA Little Rock offers a number of scholarships that are funded by generous donors to the University. Completing this application will enter you into consideration for freshman private scholarships. Prospective College of Business students may also use this application to apply for College of Business Scholarships.

Please note that all scholarships are awarded competitively. Applicants are not guaranteed awards.

Current Students

If you’re looking for scholarship opportunities to help you fund the upcoming year at UA Little Rock, we have good news: current students can now apply for several different types of UA Little Rock scholarships by submitting a single scholarship application! By applying, you will be considered for all awards for which you may be eligible:

  • General private scholarships
  • Alumni Association scholarships
  • Departmental scholarships (for College of Business students, Criminal Justice students, and Sociology and Anthropology students)

Many of the scholarships awarded using this scholarship application are for undergraduate students. Graduate students should check with their academic department for private scholarship opportunities. Law school students should contact the Bowen Office of Admissions for details on applying for law private scholarships.
