How to Apply for Scholarships as a New Incoming Undergraduate:
- Fall 2024 freshman and transfer institutional awards do not require a scholarship application. Your application for admission IS your institutional scholarship application! You must apply for admission by August 1, 2024, in order to be considered for scholarships for fall 2024.
- Private scholarships and mentored programs require an application using Scholarship Universe.
- The Donaghey Scholars Honors Program priority application deadline is Jan. 15, 2024. Applications are accepted through Feb. 15, 2024.
- Applications for Chancellor’s Leadership Corps and STEM Academic Scholars must be submitted by March 1, 2024.
- SU will automatically match you to various private scholarships as well as any outside scholarship available to you.
- For awards with any need-based consideration, you must also complete your 2024-2025 FAFSA before the deadline. The 24-25 FAFSA will be available starting in December 2023.
