The UALR Alumni Association Scholarship Program is the cornerstone of the Association. Through Alumni Association members, Trojan Collegiate License Plate owners, and Alumni Chapters, the Association sponsors scholarships programs aimed at rewarding outstanding students.

Qualified students who submit a completed UALR Alumni Association Scholarship Application packet will automatically be considered for the following:

Alumni Association Endowed Merit Scholarship*

A $2,000 scholarship awarded to two students per academic year who meet the following minimum requirements: are enrolled on a full-time or part-time basis and are classified as a junior or senior with a minimum of 60 credit hours. Although financial need may enter into the final selection decision, these scholarships are primarily based on the student’s merit.

Second Generation Scholarship*

Second Generation Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship awarded to one student per academic year who meets the following minimum requirements: have a parent who is a LRJC, LRU, or UALR graduate, are enrolled on a full-time or part-time basis, and are classified as a junior or senior with a minimum of 60 credit hours. Academic standing, financial need, and community or campus involvement will be considered in the selection process.

UALR Trojan License Plate Scholarship*

A $1,000 scholarship(s) funded by the sale of Trojan Collegiate License Plates. The number of scholarships awarded depends on the number of plates sold. These scholarships are awarded to students who are classified as a junior or senior with a minimum of 60 credit hours.

*Finalists for any Alumni Association Scholarship may be asked to participate in an interview with a member(s) of the Alumni Scholarship Committee.

Constituency Society Scholarships
