Albert D. and Marcuse S. Cohn Scholarship
Awarded to students in good standing who can demonstrate financial need and have a 2.0 GPA or above.
Andrew Crittenden Mitchell Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.
Asa Jean Woolfolk Scholarship
Awarded to full-time or part-time students who are majoring in Mathematics or Finance (with an emphasis in Insurance). Applicants must demonstrate high academic achievement. Financial need will be considered.
Bernice and Curtis Harris Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree. Applicants must exhibit financial need; academic standing will be a secondary consideration.
C. Robert Sarver Memorial Fund
Awarded to undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time or part-time in any degree program. Special consideration will be given to the academic potential of applicants, as well as their financial need and public service activities. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA overall and a 3.0 GPA in his or her major while on this scholarship.
Charles and Nadine Baum Scholarship
Awarded to part-time undergraduate or graduate students majoring in any college. Part-time is defined as less than 12 credit hours for undergraduates and less than 9 credit hours for graduates. To receive this scholarship, undergraduate and law students must enroll in 3 to 11 hours for the term of the award; graduate students must enroll in 3 to 8 hours.
Della Casan Michael Mitchell Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student who demonstrates academic achievement and financial need.
Dick Neal Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to students with a 3.0 GPA who can demonstrate financial need.
Emily and Frank Parke Scholarship
Awarded to students who have maintained a high GPA for more than four semesters. Financial need is also considered.
General Scholarship
Awarded to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time or part-time. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA while on this scholarship.
H.A. Ted Bailey, Jr. and Virginia Mitchell Bailey Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student. Academic achievement and financial need will be considered.
Insurance Women of Little Rock Scholarship
Awarded to a junior who has proven leadership abilities and is enrolled in 12 or more undergraduate hours.
James H. Fribourgh Scholarship
Awarded to undergraduate students with priority given to part-time, particularly non-traditional students. Consideration will be given to the student’s potential rather than their past academic history.
James Taylor Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a graduate or undergraduate student pursuing a degree in the business, law, math, science, medical, or health fields. Applicants must have financial need and a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Jewel Minnis Freshman Scholarship
Awarded to an outstanding first-time entering freshman.
John A. Larson Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student who demonstrates academic accomplishment and financial need.
Keemo Richardson Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to graduates of Central High School in Little Rock who are enrolled full- or part-time in any undergraduate degree program. Special consideration will be given to the academic potential of applicants, as well as their financial need and public service activities. Preference will also be given to qualified applicants who were Central High School student-athletes. The recipient(s) must maintain a 2.5 overall GPA and a 3.0 GPA in his or her major while on this scholarship.
L.A. Horn Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior with exceptional financial need and the potential for completing his or her academic studies. Special consideration will be given to single parents. The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA while on this scholarship.
Ledbetter Non-Traditional Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to full-time or part-time undergraduate students with an intended or declared major who are seeking a first baccalaureate degree. Applicants must be 25 years of age or older. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be considered.
Madeline S. Bailey and H.A. Ted Bailey, Sr. Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be studying at the undergraduate level with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and have attended an accredited high school within the following geographic areas: Arkansas, the boot heel of southeast Missouri, and western Tennessee (defined as the area along Highway 51 beginning at Memphis to Union City and the Reelfoot Lake area).
Marian Williams Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student who demonstrates academic achievement and financial need.
Mary Frances Frederick Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student who has financial need.
Neyland Hester Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be considered equally in the selection process.
Patricia and John S. Bailey Family Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to full-time or part-time students. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be considered. Student must be working toward completing a four-year degree. This scholarship is renewable; recipients must reapply annually.
Ragsdale-Johnson Scholarship
Awarded to students from Arkansas who demonstrate academic excellence or economic need and are pursuing an education in English, history, languages, engineering, mathematics, or science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock or the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Preference will be given to non-traditional students, preferably 30 years of age or older. If no such qualified person exists, the scholarship may be awarded to another qualified person.
Rockefeller Scholarship Fund
Awarded to a student with high scholarship, financial need, and personal integrity.
Roller Funeral Homes Scholarship
Awarded to full-time or part-time students who demonstrate academic accomplishment and financial need.
Rudolph S. and Margaretta B. Graham Scholarship Fund
Awarded to full-time or part-time undergraduates who are residents of Arkansas. Applicants must be a non-traditional student with a preference given to single parents. The primary intent of this scholarship is to benefit hardworking average students who would otherwise not normally receive scholarship assistance because of having non-competitive grade point averages. The award is available to entering freshmen and is renewable for four years if the student continues to meet the criteria.
Salene and Maxwell Lyons Family Scholarship
Awarded to a junior or senior with preference being given to those students majoring in an academic area related to the “helping professions.”
Simmons First National Bank Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a junior who has attended UALR for one year on a full-time basis prior to receiving this award. Applicants must show increasing academic achievement during their time at the University. Financial need will be strongly considered. Preference will be given to students who are actively involved in campus organizations.
Truman L. Scott Scholarship
Awarded to “students wanting an education but without funds to carry on,” but not to exceed $1,000.
UALR Foundation Fund Board Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time incoming freshman student. Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 and an ACT score of 22 or above. Academic accomplishment will be strongly considered. This scholarship is open to all majors and is renewable for the student’s sophomore year. Recipients must reapply.
