Tristan Robinson

Tristan is currently a Field Auto Adjuster for Shelter Insurance as he is responsible for both Pulaski & Saline counties respectively, managing an average claim load of 55 a month. Daily he provides the highest level of customer service to insureds, claimants and attorney’s.

He appraises and evaluates all types of auto including automobiles, semi’s, RV’s, ATV’s, motorcyles, boats and even motor homes. He consistently works with body shops to assure that all repairs are completed with quality and customer assurance.

He is a total loss specialist, where he consistently works with banks, lien holder’s and GAP insurance companies to settle total losses appropiately. He is responsible for makes independent decisions and handles all negotitations.

He also works with Enterprise and Hertz rental companies to provide transportation for insureds and claimants during the restoration of their auto. He consistently educates and comforts his customers who have been in accidents and is responsible for restoring their transportation on strict deadlines.

With the combined experience of bodily injury, casualty and auto claims, Tristan plans to reunite with the sales arena as an insurance agent for Shelter Insurance in the coming years. As an auto adjuster he has been recognized company wide and locally for his high level of customer service. His consistent level of customer service will compliment his salesmanship as an insurance agent.

He was previously responsible for managing customer relationships and expectations for HP’s public sector accounts to include meeting a $26 million quota semi-annually by selling servers, software, services, and networking from a converged infrastructure perspective. He provided support to all field representatives, which include account managers and converged infrastructure specialists, analyzing client business needs and requirements and develop high-end information technology solutions. He was a team lead for his specific team, was a Microsoft Sales Champion (which included a sales trip to Orlando, FL) and was recognized as MVP of his team due to his leadership and salesmanship.

Paying his way through school, Tristan worked as a Bodily Injury Specialist for casualty claims for Shelter Insurance, as a Store Manager for Tuxedo Junction in Little Rock, and as a Financial Services Representative at Alltel Communications.

He is involved with Toastmasters, Alpha Phi Alpha, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Feast of Hope, Race for the Cure, and Voter Registration.

While at UALR, Tristan was Vice President of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and Director of the campus Health Fair in 2007. His coursework enabled him to do a NAVY marketing research project, an internship with Shelter Insurance, and an advertising project for Goodwill.
