The Trail of Tears Curriculum Guide contains lessons suitable for middle school students in social studies, English language arts, science, fine arts, mathematics, Spanish, and physical education. The lesson plans include correlations with the Arkansas Curriculum Frameworks in each subject areas. The Guide was developed by UALR’s College of Education’s Teacher Education Department.
