Shakespeare Scene Festival

The 2017
Shakespeare Scene Festival
has been schedule for
March 9-10, 2017
in the UALR University Theatre.

The Shakespeare Scene Festival is a UALR event sponsored by the Departments of English and Theatre Arts and Dance. It takes place in March in the UALR Center for the Performing Arts (University Theatre). Its main purpose is to provide teachers and students a venue for the performance of Shakespeare’s plays. A description of the SSF’s history, and pictures of past performances show that the SSF is also a great way to have fun.

To register your class, please complete the Registration Form and the T-Shirt Order Form no later than February 1, 2017. (Please note: we will not be able to provide t-shirts for classes whose t-shirt orders are not completed by February 1.)

Contact the festival’s director, Dr. Kris McAbee, at for information about the 2017 festival.

The 2017 lineup will be available in February but in the meantime check out the performance schedule for the 2016 festivities!
