Preparing to Quit
Many smokers want to quit. But because the nicotine in tobacco is so addictive, quitting is not an easy task. That’s why you’ll often hear smokers say, “I know why I should; now tell me how.”
While there is no one right way for a smoker to quit, there are some key steps to take that will really help their chances of success. This section contains some brief but helpful hints you can share with a smoker or use yourself to break free from tobacco!
