Become a Staff Writer

Dear AJSCPS Applicants,

Thank you for your interest in the Arkansas Journal of Social Change and Public Service (“AJSCPS”). Started in late 2011, the AJSCPS is the first – and only – exclusively online law journal in Arkansas. The mission of the AJSCPS is to explore issues at the intersection of policy, public interest, academia, and the law to raise awareness of topics overlooked in other scholarly publications.  We encourage you to participate in the write-on this season.

The AJSCPS addresses a wide variety of social issues, from mass incarceration in Arkansas to paid maternity leave. The AJSCPS staff knows that public service spans the political spectrum and invites applications from students of all political beliefs.

There are many benefits of joining the AJSCPS. You will write vital public service blogs, participate in the editing and publishing process and, should you be interested in the opportunity, write a student note which the AJSCPS will publish. Your membership will give you a chance to build the AJSCPS and better it for the future. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

The AJSCPS Staff
