Statewide Health Assessment

The Arkansas Department of Health (DPH) has engaged the University of Arkansas at Little Rockā€™s School of Social Work to conduct its State Health Assessment Report and State Health Improvement Plan.Ā  These reports are vital documents that serve numerous functions for the state of Arkansas in general and the DPH specifically. One function is to fulfill requirements towards accreditation by the Public Health Accreditation Board.Ā  Additional purposes for these reports are to serve as references for policy decision making, programmatic endeavors, community development, and educational resources.Ā  This project will be completed through a collaborative process that will ensure the inclusion representation from stakeholders across all areas of the state that are reflective of the citizens of Arkansas.Ā
