Undergraduate Minor

The Minor in Gerontology is designed to give undergraduate students an overview of the biological, sociological and psychological aspects of aging.

A minor in gerontology requires 18 credit hours of gerontology, including GERO 2300, 4315, 4336 and 4346.  GERO 4385 topics seminar may be taken twice with different topics, or GERO 4390, directed studies may serve as one of the requirements.  A pre-approved course with significant gerontology content from another discipline may also be substituted for one of the topics seminars.
