Listserv

One of the features of the Socratic Society is our listserv (socrates@ualr.edu). This is an online discussion list hosted by the university. The list membership is made up of philosophy majors and non-majors, past and present students and faculty. The list provides another context for discussion of philosophy topics and is the best way to learn about upcoming events.

To subsribe:

• Send an e-mail message to: listserv@ualr.edu
• Leave the subject line blank
• In the message body type: subscribe socrates yourname (example: subscribe socrates Willard Quine)
• Make sure you delete any extraneous information such as signatures, backgrounds, etc.
• Send your message

You should receive a confirmation from the postmaster letting you know that you have been added to the list. If you have any problems subscribing, please call (501) 569-3312 or e-mail: philosophy@ualr.edu.
