The Department began a Capstone assessment process in 1988. This process involves faculty evaluating a final capstone presentation based on a major case analysis. This process keeps us in a mode of active reflection on ways we can enhance our curriculum and teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
Our faculty regularly meet to read about best teaching practices. Our faculty have won college and university wide teaching awards and have been instrumental in launching our new center on campus for advancing teaching and learning.
