Blackboard Collaborate is a dynamic media tool that connects you with your students through web conferencing, voice authoring, and mobile collaboration. Access the tool from within your course and create sessions to share with students who can connect from a computer or mobile iOS device.
The entire month of February we will focus on the features and functionality of Collaborate. Join us for weekly 30 minute Learning Shorts every Friday at 10:00 am. Each session will cover a specific feature to help familiarize you with Collaborate.
Sessions are held virtually via the Collaborate tool to provide a hands-on learning experience. No need to register. Join by accessing the Collaborate link each Friday during the month of February at 10 am. Recordings of the sessions will also be made available and linked on the Collaborate Resource Guide.

To prepare for the session, visit the Bb Collaborate setup page. There you can verify your computer is configured correctly for accessing and interacting in a Collaborate session. In addition to the first-time user check, you’ll find support resources and a demo session for practice. Whenever using Collaborate in your course, it’s a good idea to share the Bb Collaborate setup page with students as well.
