Programs
The DSC Aquatics Center has many programs available.
Morning Programs
The Aquatics Center offers two aerobics programs in the mornings. Fit/Well also sponsors one that is open to the general public. The Leisure Science department also teaches a beginner swim class in the mornings.
Evening Programs
There are many evening programs as well. The Water Polo Club meets Mondays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, there is a Scuba Diving Class. The Canoe Club meets on Fridays and Saturdays.
Several swim teams also practice at the center, including: the UALR Lady Trojans, and many area High Schools (Catholic, Central, Hall, and Parkview). The center is also home of the Little Rock Dolphins.
Springtime Programs
In the spring, Pool School begins and several Red Cross Classes are taught. These classes include:
- Red Cross Lifeguard Training
- Red Cross Head Guard Training
- Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor
- Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Training
- Red Cross Pro-CPR Review
- Learn to Swim Class (ages 2-adult)
- Certified Pool Operator Class
Fall and Spring Programs
Learn to Kayak.
- Wednesdays (7:00 - 8:00 pm)
- Thursdays (7:00 - 8:00 pm)
- Saturdays (2:00 -5:00 pm)
