Frank Scott knows what it takes to succeed in business. He joined First Security Bank as its business development officer after working in the governor’s office as the director of intergovernmental affairs and deputy director of policy. For Frank, his career choices have come out of a desire to make a difference.
I chose to pursue my graduate studies at UALR’s College of Business because of its reputation and unique opportunity to learn from real-world seasoned business professionals.
An MBA from UALR gave him access and opportunity to form strategic connections within the capital city and solidified his passion for community service.
UALR’s global diversity, flexibility for working professionals, and its commitment to education — being a catalyst for both economic and community development — is impressive.
Frank serves on both the UALR Alumni Association Board of Directors and the UALR Management Business Advisory Council. He also remains actively involved in the community and is a board member of the Little Rock Port Authority, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, Better Community Development, Inc., Walk It Out (chairman), and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
In August 2012, Gov. Mike Beebe appointed Frank the board of trustees at Pulaski Technical College.
