You’re making headway on your degree. What better way to get ahead than to sneak in a couple of summer classes and get more face time with your professors?Â
It’s important that you plan ahead for summer semesters. So you don’t miss a step, here’s the rundown of what you need to do:
Juniors can register for summer classes as early as April 19. Regular registration is runs May 13-24 for Summer I and Summer II, and Summer IV runs May 13-July 5.
Don’t forget to meet with your advisor!
For Summer 2013, you will need to satisfy payment requirements before you can reserve your class selections. To apply for financial aid, you must first complete a FAFSA and the Summer Financial Aid Application on BOSS. The priority deadline is May 1 (we recommend you aim for that date to get squared away early), while the final deadline is June 30. Learn about your options >>
You’re almost finished! “Confirm the term” means that you are ready to begin, you have all of your classes as you need them, and you’ve lined up how you will pay. You only have to confirm once for summer classes, so if you decide to take more classes in Summer IV, you won’t have to confirm again. If you registered before May 29, the deadline for confirming the summer term is May 29. If you registered between May 30 and July 9, you have until July 9 to confirm.
