The master calendar initiative has three categories:

• Event and Resource Management - UALR employees can electronically request reservations for space on campus for events and submit on- and off-campus events to be published on the website calendar through Astra Schedule. The Astra Calendar tool lets viewers see when and where classes and events are taking place.

• Academic Scheduling - All course scheduling in classrooms is done in Asta Schedule.

• Personal Calendaring - Through UALR’s Google-powered email service, faculty, staff, students, and Alumni Association members can schedule personal meetings in their email account.
