ITS metaLAB – A consortium of Laboratories for Intelligent Transportation Systems

Objective

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are integrated applications of advanced surveillance, communications, computer, display and control-process technologies on the roadways, in transit vehicles and at the ports. When coordinated with local and regional planning studies, ITS saves lives, time and money. We highlight this emphasis for the central Arkansas region (and beyond), which includes safety, mobility, efficiency, productivity, energy and the environment, plus customer satisfaction.
