Thoughts on ATLE
I am pleased to be serving as one of the inaugural directors for ATLE. ATLE offers UALR a chance to showcase its excellent faculty to the campus. During my interview for the position, I stressed the fact that one of UALR’s best kept secrets is the outstanding quality of its faculty, who are truly world-class. Faculty at UALR are not only researchers, but bring their research specialties into the classroom to enrich the education of their students. It is this expertise that ATLE would like to share with the entire faculty in order to improve our own teaching and to make use of new techniques in our classes to better the educational experiences for all UALR students.
