DEP Test Registration

The deadline to submit your DEP registration form, test fee, and test fee payment form is at least one week in advance of the test date.

  1. Come to Testing Services, located in the Student Services Center room 315, at least one week prior to the test date.
  2. Fill out a DEP registration form.
  3. For all DEPs, except math,
    • take the registration form to the appropriate department for approval,
    • obtain the signature of the department chairperson (or designee), and
    • arrange a test date and time.
      • For example, if you want to take a Chemistry DEP, you must take the registration form to the Chemistry Department.  The department chairperson (or designee) will sign the form. You return the form to Testing and we assist you making your appointment since the test is administered in Testing Services.  (Again, this step is not necessary for the math DEPs.)
  4. If you have questions regarding how to prepare, ask in the department.
  5. Return to Testing Services, with your your completed DEP registration form. Tell a staff person you would like to obtain a “Test Fee Payment Request” form and pay your fee.
  6. Follow the Fee Payment procedures.
  7. After following the Fee Payment procedures, return to Testing Services. Present your signed DEP registration form and your “Test Fee Payment Request” form with attached receipt. Ask for your admission ticket which should have you test day, time and location.

On your appointment date, you will present your admission ticket. The ticket signals all that you have properly registered, received the necessary permissions, and have submitted payment for your exam.

Test Fee = $35

Please refer to Fee Payment for procedural information.
