DSST’s are typically taken by persons in the military, but they are available to non-military persons also. 

Note that UALR does not administer DSST’s, but we do give credit for the ones listed below.

Some students take CLEP tests at a DANTES center. Such scores are evaluated in the same way as any other CLEP score. See CLEP for details.

If you have taken a DSST, note the following steps:

• Check the list below to see if the test you took is accepted for credit at UALR, and if you made the required score.
• If the answer to either question is no, you have no need to request a score report.
• If the answer is yes (that is, you took a test that is accepted at UALR and you earned a passing score as determined by UALR faculty), request that DANTES send an official score report to:

• Your score report will be evaluated, and a copy of the evaluation will be mailed to you.
• Note that some tests are still being considered. You may wish to delay requesting a score report until a final decision has been made.
