Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE)

UA Little Rock Testing Services no longer administers the MPRE

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) paper-based exam is a 120 minute, 60 question, multiple-choice examination designed to measure the knowledge and understanding of established standards related to a lawyer’s professional conduct. It is developed by the National Conference of Bar Examiners.

Registration for the MPRE

Registration for the MPRE must be completed online through the MPRE website.

MPRE transition to computer-based

In August 2019, NCBE, in partnership with Pearson VUE, will begin to transition the MPRE from a paper-based to a computer-based delivery platform. There will be no changes to the question format, content, or scoring of the MPRE.

Complete information may be found on the National Conference of Bar Examiners website and the MPRE website.
