Wayne Chapman (Performance Studies) has directed a wide variety of plays for Murry's Dinner Theatre (Two by Two, Greater Tuna, No Sex Please, we’re British, & A Bad Year for Tomatoes); Community Theatre of Little Rock (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Purlie, The Shadow Box, & Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds); Reponde de Capite (local alternative theatre group) (Hedda Gabler & Hamletmachine); Shakespeare Festival of Arkansas (Ghosts); and University of Arkansas at Little Rock (over 25 productions ranging from Sam Shepard to Shakespeare). He has been a guest critic and performer at the Flint Hills Interpretation Festival (Kansas); the Commonwealth Oral Interpretation Festival (Kentucky); the Ozark Interpretation Festival (Missouri), Dakota Wesleyan University Theatre Festival (South Dakota), the Interpretation Festival at Saddleback College (California), and directed a guest performance of Despoiled Shore/Medeamaterial/Landscape of Argonauts by Heiner Muller at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). In addition to over 100 radio and television commercial spots, his film credits include a scene with Charlie Sheen in "Three for the Road" (Dr. Waverly).
