The Courses We Play

The UALR Golf Programs have available some of the finest facilities of any college program in the United States.

Although the teams have access to every course, public and private, in the central Arkansas area, they spend most of their playing and practice time rotating among six different facilities.

Chenal Country Club, a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design, was selected as the third best private course built in America in 1990 by Golf Digest. Chenal has been the site of the UALR Men's Intercollegiate held every spring since 1994 and was the site of the 1993 Big I National Tournament.

Pleasant Valley Country Club, a Joe Finger design, is a beautiful 27 hole facility that has been ranked as the top course in Arkansas for almost three decades. It was the site of the 1973 USGA Jr. Girls Championship.

Maumelle Country Club, an Ed Ault design, is the site of the Maumelle Classic, one of the top amateur tournaments in the south central United States. It is also the site of the UALR Women's Intercollegiate each fall.

The Country Club of Little Rock is a Hackbarth designed course that is the oldest and certainly one of the most unique courses in the state. The view and beauty of this course is second to none.

The Country Club of Arkansas, opened in 1996, is an 18 hole facility that features tightly wooded, dogleg fairways and undulating greens. A real pleasure to play.

Quapaw Golf Links is a links style course with no trees, yet plenty of wind. It is a great course to prepare any tournament player for tough conditions.
Burns Park Golf Course is a 36 hole facility that is the site of the Arkansas Open each year. It offers all degrees of difficulty and terrain.
