The Fair Park neighborhood centers on Fair Park Boulevard between 12th Street and Asher Avenue. It’s western boundary is South University Avenue and its eastern boundary is Monroe Street. It includes approximately (number) single family residences, most of which were constructed during the 1940s. The neighborhood abuts the UALR Campus from 28th Street to Asher Avenue. Several important anchor institutions are located in the neighborhood, including Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Franklin Elementary School, Curran Conway Park, World Services for the Blind, Little Rock Islamic Center and Methodist Children’s Home.
The Fair Park Residents Association (FPRA) represents the neighborhood. The FPRA meets on the second Saturday of each month at the US Pizza at 3307 Fair Park Blvd.
