Victor J. Haislop

Victor Haislop joined the Department of World Languages in 2000. He teaches first- and second-year Spanish classes at UA Little Rock’s main campus and online. He holds a BA from Seton Hall University and an MA and an MBA from West Virginia University. In his free time, he is an enthusiastic coach of elementary school soccer teams. He and his wife, Mercedes, have six children. They travel to Spain each summer to visit family and to ensure that the children continue to be fluent in both Spanish and English.

Victor also works as an interpreter at a local hospital and does translations for the State of Arkansas and other entities.
