Little Rock Writing Project

The Little Rock Writing Project (LRWP) is a regional network of pre-K through college teachers who have successfully completed intensive preparation in the teaching of writing. The core work of the LRWP includes the following:

  • The Invitational Summer Institute
  • Professional Development programs for teachers
  • Outreach programs for children and young adults

The Little Rock Writing Project is supported in part by a grant from the Arkansas Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Additional support is provided by the federally-funded National Writing Project, the Chamberlin Family Foundation, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock; it is situated within the Department of Rhetoric and Writing.
