Trotter received joint degrees – the Juris Doctor from the Bowen School and the Master of Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service – and was the first graduate of the cooperative program.

A press conference was held July 1, and a reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. July 1 at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center located at 501 West 9th Street.

The mission of the Arkansas Minority Health Commission is to ensure all minority Arkansans access to health care that is equal to the care provided to other citizens of the state and to seek ways to provide education, and address, treat, and prevent diseases and conditions that are prevalent among minority populations.
