Students, staff, and alumni will come together to celebrate UALR’s 2013 homecoming with a week full of activities Feb. 25 – March 2.
This is the seventh-consecutive year that the Trojan women have had 20 wins in a season – nine wins in a row. They are one of only 14 NCAA Division I teams in the country to accomplish this feat.
Lineup of Homecoming events:
- The third annual Homecoming Boat Regatta is an Office of Campus Life tradition. Student organizations will square off against one another in the DSC Pool at noon Friday, March 1. All are invited to watch the competition.
- Voting for homecoming queen runs Tuesday, Feb. 26, through Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the DSC. Fourteen students were nominated by their peers for their commitment to UALR, campus involvement, and dedication to community service. The queen will be announced and crowned during halftime at Saturday’s game.
- The Trojan basketball teams will play in-state rival Arkansas State University Saturday, March 2. The women’s game starts at 4:30 p.m., while the men tip off at 7 p.m. in the Jack Stephens Center.
- Alums of Little Rock University, the predecessor to UALR, will gather before the men’s game in the Bailey Alumni Center.
