Student selected for national leadership position for Pi Kappa Alpha

The Pi Kappa Alpha magazine, Shield and Diamond, recently featured the selection of UALR student Trey Gibeault as a Supreme Council vice president for Pi Kappa Alpha.

Gibeault is serving as president of UALR’s Interfraternity Council, the supervisory body of all member fraternities at UALR, which include Kappa Sigma and Pi Kappa Alpha.

Its purpose is to promote social, scholastic, and recreational activities and to instill the highest regard for the traditions and institutions of UALR.

Gibeault belongs to the Zeta Eta chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, which was founded in 1868 at the University of Virginia. Some of the the national fraternity’s more famous alumni include news anchor Ted Koppel and Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.”

Gibeault was also recently named a UALR College of Business Ambassador.
