Subscribing to Calendars
Use Google Calendar to subscribe to important dates you want to appear on your calendar. Categories include:
- Academic Schedule
- Admissions (Undergraduate and Graduate)
- Bursar (Cashier and Student Accounts)
- Financial Aid and Scholarships
- Holidays
- Human Resources
- Registration
Submitting Events
Each university department is responsible for submitting its events through Astra Schedule.
UALR employees may electronically request space reservations on campus by submitting event information with NetID and password through Astra's Event Request Wizard. Personal meetings should be scheduled in Google Calendar.

If events are appropriate for the university website calendar accessed via the homepage and for departmental public calendars, events must be designated as "featured." Events featured on the website calendar must follow Astra Schedule university policies.
The Office of Communications will select events to be highlighted in Upcoming Events on the homepage based on featured events posted in a timely manner and mass audience appeal. Event submissions must include a date, time, location, description, web address, and contact information.
