Whether you’re a first-time freshman, a returning student, or a transfer student from another college, we have everything you need to know to make your plans for the spring semester.
Miss a step? Late registration is available
Late registration runs Jan. 14 -18. Beginning Jan. 14, a $100 late registration fee will apply. Students who register between Jan. 7 – 18 must confirm the term by Jan. 18.
Admission for entering freshmen must be completed by Jan. 4. All other undergraduates have until Jan. 11. Students applying to graduate school should check with their program’s department, as application deadlines vary.
Priority registration is staggered by classification and runs from Nov. 16 – Dec. 4. Early registration takes place Dec. 5 – Jan. 4, while regular registration is held Jan. 7-11.
No payment is needed until you confirm the term. Students who registered between Nov. 16 – Jan. 11 must confirm the term by Jan. 11 to have their class selections saved.

Get Advised Early
Undergraduate students must be advised before they can register for classes. For those new to the process, learn about advising. You can also find information for transfer students as well as additional general information.
Let’s hope by now you’ve already been there, done that. But if not, you still have time to make the final deadline for financial aid. The spring preferred deadline is Dec. 1 and the final deadline is April 1. Apply for aid here, and find additional dates and policy info here. What it Means to Confirm the Term
You are required to confirm your registration and satisfy payment of all charges not covered by financial aid in order to reserve your class selections. The registration confirmation window opens Dec. 19. To confirm your registration, log into BOSS and select the Student Services tab, then select the Confirm Your Registration link. Failure to confirm and/or pay will result in your class selections being deleted.
