More than 50 children and youth will celebrate the 15th year anniversary of UALR Children International, honoring friends, sponsors, and partners through song and dance, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28 at University Theatre in UALR’s Center for Performing Arts.
All Fall graduates and all students who graduated at the end of the summer 2009 term are invited to participate in the Fall 2009 Commencement Ceremonies. These events will be held Thursday, December 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the UALR Jack Stephens Center.
Parking:There is ample parking near the UALR Jack Stephens Center (see campus map). Please encourage your guests to park in Lot 13, Lot 14 and Lot 15.

All spring graduates and all students who have applied to graduate at the end of the summer 2009 term are invited to participate in the Spring 2009 Commencement Ceremonies. These events will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the UALR Jack Stephens Center.
The colleges of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Education; and Professional Studies will hold graduation at 9:30 a.m.
The colleges of Business, Science and Mathematics, and Engineering and Information Technology will hold ceremonies at 3 p.m.

More than 500 high school basketball teams will compete in a national tournament, “Real Deal in the Rock,” April 17 to 19, at gyms all over Little Rock and North Little Rock. The Jack Stephens Center will be the major center for the tournament, and games are open to the public. A festival featuring live music, food, and games will take place from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 17, on the Jack Stephens Center parking lot. The tournament is the former “Real Deal On The Hill” that started in Northwest Arkansas in 2005.
Discussion from the Socratic Society on Bible-based religions, reason, faith, gender, sexual orientation, and the lingering effects of racism and colonialism. The discussion will be held at 7 p.m. April 7 in the Wesley Foundation yurt.
