Sociology

Sociology investigates issues from personal, societal and global levels. You will look at the social causes and consequences of such things as racial and gender identity, family conflict, education, poverty and wealth, population growth and migration, and more. We train our students to use sociological knowledge to have a positive impact on their communities, to think critically about human social life, ask important research questions, and design and carry out research projects in which they gather and analyze evidence. This degree is offered in person and fully online.
