Spring 2024 Campus Partner Participation

Invitation Description for Students: Live your best Trojan life: attend Experience! This isn’t a typical college preview day — you’ll attend college classes, enjoy campus dining, and tour housing. Food, event t-shirt, and Trojan spirit are FREE! You’re welcome to bring family and friends to experience college life with you: we even offer a parent session, where financial aid, scholarships, and campus life will be discussed.

Published Event Timeframe: 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. (Please look at the time commitment below.)

Students Invited: High School Seniors

• Students can register at ualr.edu/experience.

Participation:

• Expo (1:30 to 2:00 p.m.)
  • Your time commitment: 12:45 to 2 p.m. (arrive by 12:45 p.m. to set up by 1:00 p.m. for early arrivals)
  • Set up a table and provide paper handouts to students; answer questions; hand out small giveaways (if you have them).

• Parent Session – University Panel Discussion (3:25 to 4:00 p.m.)
  • Your time commitment: 3:15 to 4:00 p.m.
  • Open panel discussion taking questions from parents. Offices invited to participate are listed in the table below.

• Housing Tours (4:00 to 5:00 p.m.)
  • West Hall and East Hall tours.

Invitation Description for Students: Visit UA Little Rock for our largest transfer student event of the year, Transfermation! When you leave, you’ll feel confident about transferring, getting admitted, paying for college, and more!

Students invited: Admitted Transfer Students, Searching Transfer Students

• Students can register at ualr.at/transfermation.

Participation:

• Expo (4:30 to 6:30 p.m.)
  • Your Time Commitment: 3:45 to 6:30 p.m. (Arrive by 3:45 p.m. to set up by 4 p.m. for early arrivals)
  • Set up a table and provide paper handouts to students; answer questions; hand out small giveaways (if you have them).

• Presentations | Sessions (Start times: 4:45 p.m., 5:15 p.m., and 5:45 p.m.)
  • Your Time Commitment: 4:45 to 6:30 p.m. (Arrive by 4:00 p.m. to set up)
  • Repeating informational sessions featuring OTSS & Admissions and Financial Aid.

• Campus | Housing Tours (Start Times: 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:00 p.m.)
  • Your Time Commitment: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (Arrive by 4:00 p.m. to setup)
  • Repeating tours of campus and housing by Admissions and Campus Living.
