Trojan Pathway

Our Promise

UA Little Rock is committed to providing affordable and accessible higher education in the state’s largest metropolitan area – the heart of business, politics, technology, innovation and culture in Arkansas. The UA Little Rock family extends this promise to high school students in the Little Rock School District, North Little Rock School District, Pulaski County Special School District, Jacksonville High School, and Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School: to provide the resources and guidance needed to make a smooth and informed transition to college.

UA Little Rock will provide:

  • Guidance through the federal financial aid, state and private funding application processes, and access to financial literacy tools
  • Assistance with the admission process, including submitting the application, requesting a fee waiver, sending academic transcripts, and taking college placement exams
  • Advice on areas of academic interest, career opportunities and pathways to college success
  • Connections to on-campus resources designed to help you succeed

UA Little Rock will do this by giving:

  • Detailed, step-by-step, college preparation plans from September of senior year to the start of classes as a college freshman
  • Calendar of events to assist with completion of each step in the process
  • Monthly newsletters featuring UA Little Rock opportunities and general information about exam prep, community service, scholarship searches and more
  • Staff visits for group and one-on-one assistance
